Since 2003 Keene has worked with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the organisation responsible for the world’s largest airport system and the US east coast’s biggest seaport. We assist the Port Authority’s Regional Director for Europe, Middle East, South Asia and Africa (EMEASA), providing market intelligence, engaging with policy makers and influencers, liaising with customers and promoting the Port Authority across the EMEASA region.
In June we organised for Susan Baer, the Port Authority’s Director of Aviation to visit Brussels to speak at the Transatlantic Aviation Issues Conference and organised a range of meetings with some of the most important stakeholders in European Aviation.
As well as meeting Tom Baldwin, Head of Aviation at DG Move in the European Commission we accompanied Susan to meetings with Husain Khan, Acting Secretary General, Association of European Airlines, Said El Khadraoui MEP, from the European Parliament Transport Committee, and Bernard Gustin, CEO of Brussels Airlines.
The meetings provided an insight into European developments on vital trans-Atlantic aviation policies and an opportunity to discuss a range of important issues with key opinion formers. The client was also able to gain a valuable understanding of the current commercial issues facing the European Aviation industry, one of the Port Authority’s most important markets.
The Port appreciates how we keep them informed on issues that impact on them. Click here to read how we help our other clients.
