Simon’s lengthy career in the public relations industry began in 1982. Since then he has worked in some of the UK’s largest PR agencies before he started one of his own. Simon acquired Keene Communications in 2009.

Although focused primarily on the B2B sector, he has advised clients drawn from the financial and professional services sectors as well as IT, public sector and charities.

Simon has worked closely with several other marketing disciplines including advertising, direct marketing and, more recently,  digital and social media.

Simon has also worked on numerous international assignments and has travelled widely on behalf of his clients.

Simon is a trustee of the Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research Fund

With more than 30 years’ corporate communications and financial experience, much of it with Hill & Knowlton and Burson-Marsteller, two global communications consultancies, Andrew has advised a range of mainly B2B clients in banking and financial services, aviation, property and security.

He has travelled and worked abroad extensively, including 15 years in the Middle East and a four-year stint as manager of Gulf Hill & Knowlton’s Bahrain office, where he was responsible for a staff of 17 people.

He also spent several months in 1997 seconded to Burson-Marsteller’s office in Johannesburg, where he was a member of the team advising the Ministry of Telecommunications on South Africa’s first privatisation.

Sam has worked on a wide range of travel and leisure PR accounts during her 16 years in the business. She brings a wealth of experience to Keene including working for airlines, tourist boards, luxury safari camps and hotels. Sam works across all Keene’s travel clients.

A natural born copywriter, Sam is equally at home writing for all forms of media, from traditional print media to digital and social media. Under her control, the Wirebird Blog, a blog created for St Helena Tourism was shortlisted in the travel section of the UK Blog Awards 2015 whilst a digital campaign carried out for the same client was recently shortlisted in the ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ Award at the Adventure Travel Awards.

Ana’s experience spans 14 years in the PR industry working with technology sector clients such as IBM, HP, Gartner, Novell, GSM Association, Sony and VeriSign. She has developed international  influencer engagement campaigns and managed their coordination regionally.

More recently she has focused heavily on social media channels and she currently manages the social media content for a number of high-school wireless clients. When it comes to media relations, she’s an experienced operator in the UK through her work with security, networking, mobile and workflow clients.

Ana previously worked at Text 100, Hill & Knowlton and Johnson King.

Having spent over 20 years in IT systems, will has applied his analytical know-how and problem solving prowess to delving deep into the realms of social media insights and getting a firm grasp on the range of tools now available for use in social marketing campaigns.

Will has spent the last three years looking in detail at Facebook advertising and has now made this space his own. From reaching new audiences to tapping into niche markets and retargeting website visitors, Will has delivered some exceptional results for our clients. A Facebook advertising campaign carried out for St Helena Tourism was recently shortlisted for ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ in the Adventure Travel Awards 2017.
